A simple marinade is a great way to save time in the kitchen. This week we make Nepalese yoghurt skewers which are a family hit. It is super quick to cook and best served with a salad or steamed veg. This week we are doubling the meat mix for the Hamburgers and Nepalese yoghurt skewers. We are also using some food banked meals from week 26, reducing your cooking load to only 4 meals from scratch this week, plus some sides, and a leftovers meal. Dinner done.
MEAL PLAN #28: AUTUMN/FALL
Monday – Hamburgers – double the meat recipe and freeze half. Recipe on the app and the blog.
Tuesday – Nepalese yoghurt skewers. Double and freeze half. Recipe on the blog.
Wednesday – Puttanesca pasta from the freezer from week 26. Recipe on the app and the blog. If making for the first time, double and freeze half.
Thursday – Cottage pie from the freezer from week 26. Recipe on the app. Make the mash on the day.
Friday – Leftovers / dining out / takeaway
Saturday – Roast chicken. Serve with creamy roast potatoes and green beans. Recipe on the app.
Sunday – Simple meal: Omelette. Use ham, tomato, cheese or whatever you have in the refrigerator.
Snacks: Lemon syrup cake – recipe on the app and the blog.
